Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 05, 2025

This document explains what data is collected, how it is used, and how it may be shared when using the Naploop mobile application. By using the App, these terms are accepted.

Data Collection and Use

No personal information (name, email, phone number, IP address, location, etc.) is collected. Only the following anonymous event data is recorded:

  • audio_played (track_title)
  • theme_changed (theme: "light" or "dark")
  • sleep_mode_selected (mode: "wakeup" or "bedtime")

This anonymous data is used solely to understand usage patterns, measure performance, and correct errors.

Crash Reporting

Firebase Crashlytics is used to detect errors. Only anonymous error messages and stack traces are sent—no personal data is included.

Service Providers

Anonymous data collection and crash reporting are handled exclusively by Firebase (Google). No other third parties receive any data. No data is shared with advertisers or marketers.

Data Retention and Transfer

Anonymous data is stored according to Firebase's default retention policy (typically up to 14 months) and may be processed on servers outside the user's country. Since no personal data is collected, none is stored by the developer.

User Rights

GDPR (European Union)

No personal data is collected, so there is no profile to delete or transfer. Analytics can be disabled, or the developer can be contacted to confirm that no personal data is processed.

KVKK (Turkey)

Under KVKK (Law No. 6698), no personal data processing means there is no record to access or delete. The developer can be contacted to confirm that no personal data is processed.

Data Security

All anonymous data is transmitted via HTTPS. Although reasonable measures are taken to protect this data, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. When changes occur:

  • The updated policy is published in the App or on the website.
  • The "Last updated" date is revised.
  • If changes are significant, a notice is displayed before they take effect.
Users are advised to review this policy regularly. Changes become effective immediately upon posting.
